Our Mission
1-UP CLUB's mission is to foster a diverse community of independent Dutch video game developers who wish to start or level-up their video game businesses.

The Community
In order to ensure a safe and inspiring environment, we run a closed Discord community. Any new application is put to a vote, allowing members to voice their possible concerns.

We strongly believe there is strength in numbers. With over a hundred members already, there's always someone with valuable knowledge on any given topic. Our size also allows us to secure discounts for events and on game-related services.

The 1-UPDATE
Once a month on a random Tuesday evening, we host our 1-UPDATE online event. We invite industry experts to join us as we discuss topics essential to running your own video game business.

The 1-UP CLUB DATE
One hour before each edition of the Dutch Game Association's monthly Network Lunches, commmunity members are invited to come together in person during our 1-UP CLUB DATES. It's during these meetings that real personal connections are being made between our community members, which is especially useful for new members.
